Free Behavioral Targeting and Segmentation - BTBuckets

Targeting users based on technical information

We just added three new types of clustering filters in the BTBuckets interface:

  • language: segment users based on the language and locale of their browser;
  • browser: cluster users based on what browser and/or browser version;
  • operating system: bucket users based on what operating system they use (includes mobile devices, such as the iPad).

This will now allow you to enhance existing buckets or create new buckets based on this information.

What this really means is now you can have a customized home-page for iPad users, or you can segment specific offers and content for Mac users. You can also work with customized messages in the user's native tongue with the language feature - even if these users are accessing your website from a different country (example: Spanish speaking users in the United States).

Our goal is to create the ultimate segmentation application, and we believe that this type of clustering brings a new edge to personalization and on-site behavioral targeting.

This type of segmentation can be classified as technographic segmentation.

Happy segmenting!
