UPDATE: To make easier the task of segmenting companies, we've created a new option inside Organization segmentation. Now, you can select Fortune 500 to profile users coming from the top 500 companies based on the latest Fortune ranking!
For the past few years, there's been an increasing demand for Geolocation support on any software, service or device out there. It's very useful in a behavioral targeting/profiling service, for instance, and our users strongly agree with that statement. That's why we're happy to announce that today we're rolling out this cool feature: now one might segment his/her audience based on the City, State or Country where the request was originated.
This new feature works by discovering the Geolocation, such as the city, state and/or country, of the website visitor and makes it possible to take distinct actions and show different contents for users on distinct places, still without changing a bit of the website's logic.
To start using this new feature right away, go to the BTBuckets interface and create or edit a bucket behavior with our configuration tool. A new navigation option "Location" will be available, just drag it to the behaviors area, just like any other options and enter the name of the location you want. After that, a select box will appear with all the locations that matches the text you've entered. Just select the one that best fit your needs and your brand new bucket is ready.
