We have been covering this update for a while, feel free to re-visit what we've been talking about.

BTBuckets just passed the 1 Billion (with a "b") milestone !!!
To put this in perspective, here are some interesting facts about this number:
- 1,000,000,000 4 penny nails would reach from San Jose city, CA to Durham city, NC
- 1,000,000,000 NFL footballs laid end to end would reach as far as 5.76 plane Neptune

We believe that the beauty and benefits of on-site personalization will be beneficial to all stakeholders if done always respecting user privacy. At BTBuckets we do not work with PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and we want to make sure the website visitor is always in control. Continue
Besides working with a universal opt-out, all of the segmentation information we use is stored on the individual user…

- operating system: bucket users based on what operating system they use (includes mobile devices, such as the iPad).
This will now allow you to enhance existing… Continue

The capability of creating an engaging user experience by personalization is directly linked with message content and timing. Users will be impressed by receiving messages appropriate to segments they belong - but may become disappointed if the timing is off.
This happened recently to me, where as an expecting dad who just had a kid - I was bombarded with product offerings for pre-birth opportunities. Good segmentation, bad timing. The same can happen on your site.

Brazil is a very proud country - specially proud of their national soccer team. The biggest catalyst for "futebol" pride demonstration is the World Cup. The country stops and stares at what happens on the soccer field.
BTBuckets is Brazilian and we feel the need to participate in this excitement. Although all of our communication is done in English we felt the need to let other Brazilians know about our national pride. And we wanted to do this with our own tool.
The first… Continue
