Sarah Deatley published a
blog post telling her experience in using some tools for behavioral targeting. She configured a bucket and targeted a custom message for returning visitor using one of the pre-defined target codes.
Another interesting usage is creating tailored landing pages for specific users. You can check on your web analytics some relevants referrers and create another web page for those users.
On BTBuckets, setup a bucket with this profile and create a targeting redirecting for the web page created. When a user come from the referrer configured, he or she will be redirected to the special landing page.
Then, you can verify on your web analytics if this new landing page is creating more engagement or conversions.
