I'm wondering if anyone knows how to use the system to change a message or title that a user sees based on their location or referring keyword. For example, if someone is in Texas I'd want to add the word "Texas" to my messaging such as "Free Shipping to Texas!".
Hi Eric -
This is possible and we have a lot of sites actually doing this.
The first step is to create a bucket for the geographic region (city, state or country) you want to target. Then you can create a targeting code specific for this bucket. An example is to include content in a DIV within your website.
Can you provide some more detailed instructions on how to do this?
Would you have to create a bucket for each City? What if we wanted to target hundreds of cities? Could this be automated?
There's plenty of products out there, but one I've been using recently is a product called Pzyche from a company in the UK.
Very simply they understand about visitors to your website - not only where they're from, but their demographics and interests. So when a visitor matching a certain group (which you pre-define) hits your website they automatically get personalised content - helps increase conversions.
Worth checking out - I'll let you know how I get on. Only been running it a week or so, but so far so good :)
